Imsil Santa Festival Delights Children with Winter Activities

Children dressed as Santa Claus enjoyed the Imsil Santa Festival at the Imsil Cheese Theme Park in North Jeolla Province on the 27th. The two-day event features a Santa parade, costume contest, children’s musical, magic and bubble shows, and orchestra performances. Family-friendly activities include making family trees, cheese cake workshops, chocolate fondue, cheese curling, an artificial ice rink, and floating-ball snowball fights. A popular ice fishing (bing-eo) experience area from last year has been doubled in size to accommodate more visitors. Imsil County Mayor Shim Min said the festival’s performances, hands-on programs, food, and gift events aim to create warm and special winter memories.
