CJ Olive Young released its '2026 Trend Keywords' report, naming F.U.L.L.M.O.O.N (full moon) as the guiding concept for K-beauty and wellness through 2025–26. The report highlights a strong movement toward 'the whole/complete self' as consumers—especially ages 15–24—embrace Early Wellness: preventive, everyday health practices that blend pleasure with function ('healthy pleasure'). Sales data show double-digit growth in wellness purchases among Gen Z since 2022. Key trends include recovery care and sleep support (melatonin, GABA, niacin, pantothenic acid), ingestible wellness snacks (candies, jellies) and routine-friendly products that deliver nutrients without extra time. In makeup, 'skincaring makeup' and hybrid color-care products are rising: consumers now prioritize both cosmetic performance and beneficial ingredients, fueling demand for dermatologist-friendly (derma) color cosmetics using natural-derived actives. The report also covers globalized K-beauty in daily life, the blending of professional procedures and home care ('pro self-care'), Gen Z 'light luxury beauty', and AI-powered hyper-personalized beauty concierge services.
