Countdown Fantasy 2025–2026: Two-Day Band Festival Rings in the New Year

A two-day music festival called 'Countdown Fantasy 2025–2026' will be held on Dec. 30–31 at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2 in Gyeonggi Province, offering live band performances and a collective midnight countdown to welcome the New Year. Around 30 popular bands are scheduled; Dec. 30 features CNBLUE, N.Flying, Peppertones and Thornapple, while Dec. 31 includes Touched, Dragon Pony and Soran. The New Year’s countdown will take place during the Silica Gel (실리카겔 — a Korean indie band) performance. Organizers will run free shuttle buses from the end of the countdown until the first morning trains and provide a sleep area. Side events include a curling contest with a chance to meet winning artists and fan-selection giveaways like red ginseng (홍삼) sets.
