A Naver community run by art director Han Jemma, 'Grim Momma' (literally 'painting mother'), will host the '2026 Red Horse New Year Special Exhibition' from January 1 to February 20, celebrating the Year of the Red Horse with horse-themed works by over 80 artists with developmental disabilities. The event will feature both online video presentations and an offline show of 128 physical works, with participation from 26 partners including Lush Korea, the National Institute of the Korean Language, Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine, Seoul Foundation of Women and Family, several Korea University hospitals, and the Busan Museum of Natural History. Lush will host the main venue at 'Dumulmeori’s Lush Village' as part of its ongoing support for artists with developmental disabilities. The exhibition includes domestic and international contributors (from the U.S. and China) and aims to highlight the artists’ creativity and challenge perceptions that people with disabilities are only recipients of help, emphasizing that disability does not limit artistic talent.
