KFC Korea reported a 469% increase in operating profit last year, achieving a record high of 16.4 billion KRW (about 12.3 million USD). Sales also reached a historical peak, rising by 18% to 292.3 billion KRW (about 220 million USD). The company credited this growth to an increase in average daily sales per store and the number of total visitors. Efforts to strengthen store competitiveness included the introduction of small-sized stores tailored to specific commercial areas and comprehensive renovation for existing locations. KFC also emphasized improving product quality and customer experiences, with enhanced training programs for staff. This year, KFC plans to focus on aggressive store expansion, enhancing digital infrastructure, and developing unique new products to solidify its market position in South Korea.
