Mercedes-Benz Turns Pyeongchang Resort into a Winter 'Benz Village'

Mercedes-Benz Korea has partnered with the Mona Yongpyong (모나용평) ski resort in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, to host a seasonal ‘Winter Thrill’ pop-up across the resort. The Mercedes-Benz Winter Lounge on the hotel valley center's first floor (open until Feb 22) offers a rest space for Mercedes owners and premium condo members with massage chairs, board games, craft activities, weekend movies and holiday cocktail parties. A Winter Thrill basecamp at the ski plaza (through Jan 18) displays Mercedes vehicles and a photo zone with mountain backdrops. The fountain at Peace Fountain Square has been replaced by a large Christmas tree bearing the Mercedes logo, illuminated at night. At 1,458m on Balwangsan (발왕산), a high-performance Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé is exhibited for visitors arriving by ski or cable car. The displays run through the ski season, giving guests rare chances to view luxury cars against scenic winter landscapes.
