Incheon offers a range of winter activities across the city through early 2025. Key highlights include the ‘Christmas Festa’ at Gyeyang Araon with a 14m main tree, light installations and media facade displays; district tree festivals and photo zones in Yeonsu and Jung-gu; vintage markets and pet-friendly events at Incheon Port’s Sangsang Platform (including the Oslo Vintage Market and Open Port Christmas). Outdoor ice rinks operate at Dongincheon Station and Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. Nearby Ganghwa Island hosts ice-fishing festivals (‘bingeo’ refers to smelt fish) and frozen-lake festivals with fishing, sledding and food stalls serving freshly fried bingeo. New Year’s Eve events include a countdown festival at Incheon Culture & Arts Center and sunset/sunrise gatherings at Jeongseojin Arabit Island and Geojampo Port (where the small island “Maedorang” is nicknamed “Shark Island”). Popular sunset spots like Janghwari on Ganghwa are promoted for scenic photography. Incheon Tourism encourages residents and visitors to enjoy seasonal nightscapes, festivals and outdoor experiences across the city.
