Artist Park Eun-ju's Folk-Painting Show 'Weaving Love' Celebrates the Year of the Red Horse

Seoul’s Gallery Eun hosts Park Eun-ju’s 14th solo exhibition "Weaving Love" from Dec. 31 to Jan. 5, featuring modern interpretations of traditional Korean folk paintings (minhwa). The show centers on spirited images of horses—inspired by the ho-ryeop-do motif—symbolizing vitality, momentum and freedom, often combined with auspicious symbols of "gilsang" (good fortune). Park uses warm brushwork to convey wishes for family health, wellbeing and personal dreams, sending a hopeful message for the 2026 byeong-o year (the Year of the Red Horse). Admission is free.
