KORAIL Tourism Development Staff Volunteer and Donate for Children Awaiting Adoption

On Dec. 24, employees of KORAIL Tourism Development volunteered at Seonggajung Adoption Center in Seoul’s Seongbuk District, helping disinfect toys, do laundry and tidy outdoor areas for about four hours to improve living conditions for children awaiting adoption. The center was founded in 1989 by the late Cardinal Kim Su-hwan with the philosophy “Our baby, our hands” (a founding slogan). Staff also donated infant moisturizers and other supplies bought through a matching grant (employees and company contributed equally). Acting CEO Lee Woo-hyun thanked participants and pledged continued ESG-focused social contributions.
