Imanna Lee Solo Exhibition "Corners of the World": Discovering Worlds at the Edge of Reality

Painter Imanna Lee opens a solo show "Corners of the World" at Seon Gallery (Sun Gallery) in Insadong, Seoul through the 31st, presenting about 18 works of painting and drawing. Her first solo since 2022, the exhibition includes signature series "Shallow Landscapes" and new pieces such as "Landscape Before a Wall," "Corner," and "Roadside." Lee uses everyday scenes as a starting point to build spaces that resemble reality yet feel uncanny, revealing hidden sensations, emotions and invisible layers of the world. The artist focuses on margins and corners—overlooked places that are not endings but beginnings—using recurring motifs like blocked walls, narrow alleys, and night scenes with ambiguous depth to pose existential questions.
