Eva Almerson Joins K-Musical 'Lina, Superhero' as Producer

Spanish artist Eva Almerson, known as the "painter of happiness," is producing the Korean original family musical 'Lina, Superhero.' The show expands Almerson's message that everyday happiness begins with protecting the environment into a story about a girl with superpowers who changes the world. Main characters include Lina, her younger brother Mino, grandmother, parents, and an abandoned robot doll. Almerson has created artwork for the production and these pieces will appear in both a pre-show exhibition and the musical itself. She has collaborated with the Korean creative team since March and attended a production workshop in September. The musical opens in July next year, with an exhibition at the KEPCO Gallery (한전갤러리) scheduled for May, featuring character sketches, production art, and new originals by Almerson.
