T-money has partnered with Sanrio Korea to launch two new Sanrio-themed transport cards: four “Sparkle LED T-money” designs featuring Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and Pompompurin holding magic wands that light up with an LED effect when tapped on transit readers (T-money is a rechargeable Korean transit card). The Sparkle LED cards are priced at 6,000 KRW and sold at GS25 stores. They also released three “Balloon T-money” designs showing Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Kuromi with glittery backgrounds; these come with decorative stickers for customizing the card and are sold at 7-Eleven for 6,000 KRW.
