Jipyeong, a premium traditional alcohol producer, is expanding collaborations with cultural and arts venues to broaden the use of Korean traditional drinks. The company showcased its premium lines at gallery opening receptions—serving Jipyeong takju (unfiltered rice wine) at one reception and Jipyeong soju–based cocktails at another—and provided takju and soju highballs at a mixed-culture afterparty. High-end restaurants in major office districts (Yeouido, Gwanghwamun, Gangnam) are increasingly offering Jipyeong products as course pairings or cocktail bases. The brand is also hosting tasting events where takju, soju, and yakju (medicinal or sweet rice wine) are paired with traditional Korean multicourse meals. Jipyeong says these moves show traditional alcohol can move beyond dining into exhibitions, art, and lifestyle spaces, and it plans continued collaborations to expand its premium brand experience.
