HotelsCombined and BellyGom Characters Team Up for Christmas Surprise Campaign

Global hotel search platform HotelsCombined is running a Christmas collaboration campaign featuring its mascot Max and Lotte Home Shopping’s popular character BellyGom, both dressed as Santas who give surprise gifts to citizens. The campaign aims to link the joy of Christmas with the happiness of travel by using familiar character-based content and promotional videos. A launch video released on Dec. 22 shows Max and BellyGom as a “Santa crew” handing out presents in the streets to create a warm, year-end atmosphere. From Dec. 22–31, HotelsCombined and BellyGom will hold an Instagram giveaway offering travel vouchers usable for booking about 5.8 million hotels worldwide and eco-bags featuring the characters. This follows earlier collaborations, including a pop-up store in May, and signals HotelsCombined’s strategy to build emotional connections and expand customer touchpoints through ongoing character partnerships.
