Amorepacific has unveiled a large installation, "Willing To Be Vulnerable - Transparent Balloon" (2025), by Korean artist Lee Bul (이불) at its world headquarters atrium in Yongsan, Seoul. The project transforms the everyday corporate atrium into an experiential art space, using its vast volume to present a floating balloon-like work made of lightweight transparent film that interacts with air currents. Part of Lee Bul’s long-running "Willing To Be Vulnerable" series—exploring utopian yearning and collective emotions—the piece interrogates modernity, fragility and futurity through a mix of buoyant and precarious forms. The installation continues Lee Bul’s international presence (including Sydney Biennale and Martin-Gropius-Bau) and aligns with Amorepacific’s aim to expand a "culture of beauty" while spotlighting contemporary Korean art on a global stage.
