Spanish painter Eva Armisen, known for depicting everyday happiness, is joining the Korean original musical “Lina, Superhero” as a producer. Armisen — praised in Korea for warm works featuring family, flowers, and daily life — has been collaborating with the Korean creative team since March and will visit Korea in September for workshops. The musical centers on a caring family often seen in her paintings and follows an ordinary girl, Lina, her brother Mino, grandmother, parents, and an abandoned robot doll as they face monsters like “Stick-Stick” and “Eat-Eat” (characters born from environmental destruction) on an adventurous journey. Armisen’s characters will be revealed as illustrations and then come to life on stage in July 2026, moving, singing, and dancing in 3D. The project expands Armisen’s message that everyday happiness begins with protecting the planet into a family-friendly story about a girl changing the world with a superpower. Before the premiere, an immersive exhibition will open featuring original character drawings, production materials, new paintings, and hands-on, environment-themed experiences tied to the story. Updates will be released via the musical’s official account.
