Dongsuh Foods is expanding its premium capsule coffee line, KANU Barista, with new latte-focused capsules — KANU Soft Harmony and KANU Forte Ensemble — designed to pair with milk for sweeter, fuller flavors. Soft Harmony blends light-roast Ethiopian natural beans with milk for jasmine-like sweetness, while Forte Ensemble layers Colombian and Brazilian beans with Ethiopian natural beans for a heavy body and notes of dark chocolate, brown sugar and caramel. The brand also released its fourth single-origin, KANU Single Origin Brazil Cerrado, made with Rainforest Alliance (RA) certified beans offering almond, chocolate and honey nuances, plus a winter-limited Dolce Gusto-compatible capsule, KANU Winter Snow, featuring milk chocolate and nutty flavors. The compact KANU Barista Pebble machine adds new “Mocha” and “Lavender” colors. Launched in 2023, KANU Barista uses Dongsuh’s 50-year coffee expertise and packs 9.5 g of beans per capsule (about 1.7 times typical espresso capsules) to suit Korean preference for Americano.
