New York Liberty and Ant International’s cross‑border fintech platform Alipay+ have signed a multi‑year partnership naming Alipay+ an official sponsor and sustainability innovation partner. The collaboration will fund community programs across New York City that emphasize three pillars: community empowerment, environmental sustainability, and youth development—including youth sports and tech skills. As a launch activity, Alipay+ supported the Liberty’s “Season of Giving” Shoe Sorting Day, where volunteers sorted donated sneakers and added handwritten encouragement notes for students in housing‑unstable situations, aiming to remove barriers to participation and boost confidence. The partnership will roll out more initiatives and marketing inside Barclays Center (Barclays Center) and via social media to broaden impact citywide.
