K-beauty device company APR is preparing to expand its U.S. offline retail network next year by negotiating placement with major retailers including Walmart, Target and Costco. Currently sold across Ulta Beauty’s roughly 1,500 U.S. stores, APR’s exclusive agreement with Ulta in the U.S. will end, allowing it to pursue additional channels. Discussions also include placing products in the first U.S. CJ Olive Young (올리브영) stores, which plan to open four locations next year. If even a portion of these talks succeed, APR could quickly scale its physical footprint — Walmart has about 4,700 U.S. stores, Target around 2,000, and Costco roughly 630 in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. APR’s Mediheal-owned brand MediCube (메디큐브) and beauty devices have driven rapid U.S. growth: U.S. sales more than doubled from 158.3 billion KRW last year to 317.6 billion KRW in the first three quarters this year. APR will also exhibit new products at CES 2026 in Las Vegas in January.
