Kangwon Land Expands Tourism Partnership with Mongolia

Kangwon Land signed a joint marketing MOU with the Mongolian Tourism Board in Ulaanbaatar to boost tourism and cultural exchange. The collaboration centers on long-stay workation programs that combine education and tourism: staff from High1 Resort (operated by Kangwon Land) will be dispatched to Mongolia’s Tourism Training Center to provide hands-on training in casino dealing, hotel service, F&B, and culinary skills. Trained Mongolian tourism professionals will then do on-site internships at High1 Resort to gain operational experience and learn Korean culture during their stay. Kangwon Land will also continue local marketing, sponsoring the ‘High1 Cup International Ski Competition’ at Mongolia’s Sky Resort to increase brand presence, and plans to expand tourism cooperation in overseas markets.
