Renowned first-generation Korean theatre star Yoon Seok-hwa has died at age 69 after battling a brain tumor. According to the Korean Theatre Actors Association, she passed away on the evening of December 18 with family by her side. Yoon was celebrated for her long career on stage, including a notable 2015 performance in the one-woman play 'Far, You' directed by Im Young-woong at the Sanwoollim Small Theatre in Mapo, Seoul.
