French luxury brand Moncler is returning to the Winter Olympics for the first time since 1968, partnering as an official sponsor of the Brazilian Olympic Committee and technical sponsor of Brazil’s alpine ski team for the 2026 Milan–Cortina Games. Brand ambassador and World Cup champion Lucas Pinheiro Braten—who changed nationality from Norway to Brazil—will race for Brazil in Moncler Grenoble race suits co-designed with him, featuring Brazilian-inspired details like a star motif. Moncler also released its Grenoble FW25 campaign starring Braten, snowboarder Chloe Kim, actor Vincent Cassel, and model Amber Valletta, and showcased technical innovations such as water-resistant “technical denim” (from Kojima, Japan), PrimaLoft insulation, Gore-Tex, and high-performance stretch fabrics. The collection blends tailoring and mountain functionality and promotes après-ski (après-ski: activities and style after skiing) elegance. Braten says the partnership respects his identity and helps him focus on performance and expression, noting the suit’s comfort and technical detail improve concentration on racing.
