Final Original Play by Local Troupe 'Takeoff' to Premiere in Goseong This Weekend

Goseong-based theatre troupe 'Takeoff' will present its final original play, 'Sea Wave Hair Salon' (Korean title: '파도미용실'), on April 19–20 at the Goseong County Cultural Welfare Center. The piece was developed from the troupe’s direct observations and experiences in Goseong and marks its world premiere in the region. The drama follows people carrying wounds and anxieties who find comfort and courage through mutual support, delivering a warm message of solidarity. Takeoff has focused on telling marginalized voices in Gangwon Province and this year was selected for a development grant from the Gangwon Cultural Foundation, partnering with Goseong County for performances. Admission is free; advance reservations are available via the PlayTicket website (https://playticket.co.kr/index.html) and on-site tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
