Musinsa Standard, the private-label brand of Korean online fashion platform Musinsa, is on track to reach ₩470 billion (about $350M) in annual gross merchandise value this year, up roughly 40% from last year. Strong offline growth—offline sales rose about 86%—helped drive performance as the brand opened 14 new stores across key Korean regions, bringing the total to 33 domestic locations and doubling annual visitors to around 28 million. Musinsa plans to keep expanding offline with two or more new stores monthly. Foreign customer sales are high at flagship stores in popular tourist areas (Myeongdong, Hannam, Seongsu). Musinsa also opened its first overseas Musinsa Standard store in Shanghai and aims to expand to 10 stores in China, including a shop in Nanjing East Road’s Shinsegae Daimaru. Product momentum includes nearly 13 million items sold year-to-date and over 1.3 million reviews, with basics like slacks and T-shirts leading sales; beauty and home categories—especially a value beauty line—have grown rapidly. The brand says ongoing focus on quality, price, and expanded offline touchpoints will support its goal of becoming a globally competitive lifestyle brand.
