Gender-neutral K-beauty color brand Laka is accelerating global expansion in the second half of 2025 with consecutive pop-ups and B2B exhibitions across North America, the Middle East and Asia. The brand showcased at Cosmoprof North America in Las Vegas and secured distribution deals with Miniso USA/Canada, Sephora (confirmed) and Mexican retailer Euphoria. Laka also ran consumer-facing events in LA ('K Beauty Hall of Fame POPUP') and New York ('K-Beauty Boost in New York 2025'), drawing about 5,000 visitors at the New York booth and building local influencer collaborations, including a session with makeup artist Daniel Martin. In the Middle East, Laka debuted at Beautyworld Middle East in Dubai and engaged GCC buyers, while participating in Cosmoprof Asia Hong Kong to negotiate 2026 retail entries. Asian pop-ups drew strong footfall: a Taipei department-store pop-up attracted roughly 19,000 visitors, and a hands-on color-mixology pop-up at Bangkok’s Siam Square (BTS Skywalk) let customers create custom mini tints and featured local actors Lena and Miu. Laka also launched a lip line focused on 'Fruity Glam' tints at 91 Boots stores and online across the UK (Boots is a national health & beauty chain with about 2,000 stores), receiving immediate in-store demand. The company says these activities will help solidify Laka’s position as a global, gender-neutral color cosmetics brand. (BTS: Bangkok transit system)
