Gangneung City Symphony Orchestra to Perform Beethoven’s Ninth with Local Choirs on the 20th

The Gangneung City Symphony Orchestra will present its 149th regular concert on the 20th at 4 PM in the Saimdang Hall of the Gangneung Art Center. The program features Beethoven’s iconic final work, Symphony No. 9 “Choral,” conducted by Jeong Min. Five prominent local choirs — Gangneung City Choir, Gangneung Male Choir, Gangneung Women’s Choir, Everysing Chorus, and the Gangneung Love Couples Choir — will join the orchestra to enhance the powerful choral experience. Renowned soloists appearing include soprano Lee Myung-ju, mezzo-soprano Lee Dan-bi, tenor Guk Yoon-jong, and bass-baritone Samuel Yoon. The concert is suitable for audiences aged elementary school and older. Tickets are priced at 20,000 KRW (R) and 10,000 KRW (S) and can be booked through the Gangneung Art Center website.
