Lotte Mart Launches Nationwide Strawberry Fair with Local Character Packaging

Lotte Mart has launched a two-week "Nationwide Strawberry Fair" featuring limited-edition packages that display stickers of local government mascots from seven producing regions (e.g., Nonsan, Wanju, Damyang, Goryeong). The product uses Lotte Mart’s top-selling single-layer Seolhyang strawberries to keep fruit fresh and reduce bruising, and introduces regional characters such as Nonsan’s Army Sergeant, Jinju’s Hamo, and Goryeong’s Gayadoli to highlight local identity. The promotion aims to raise awareness of local strawberry producers, with a card payment discount of 2,000 KRW on all strawberry items until the 24th and an extra 1,000 KRW off per pack when buying two or more packs. Lotte Mart secured about 350 tons in advance to ensure steady supply during peak year-end demand.
