Wonju Women's Community Center Hosts 'Gently Draw, Kindly Connect' Exhibition and Shares Bokjumeoni Pouches

Wonju Women's Community Center delivered 220 traditional New Year’s lucky pouches (bokjumeoni) to vulnerable elderly residents on the 17th. The pouches were assembled with donated materials from the social cooperative Dodream and the help of 10 volunteer craftworkers. The center is also holding an empathy-themed exhibition through the end of the month titled “Gently Draw, Kindly Connect,” featuring one year of works from the community clubs Gwangmyeong Sketch and I-eum Quilt (a quilting group).
