'2025 Gangneung Student Orchestra Festival' to be Held on 18th

Gangneung Office of Education will host the '2025 Gangneung Student Orchestra Festival' at 3 PM on the 18th at the Sebastiano Sports Center of Catholic Kwandong University. The event is part of a local cultural arts education program linked to the city’s K-character (K-인성) and future talent initiatives, giving elementary, middle and high school students in the Gangneung area opportunities to experience cooperation and communication through orchestra and choir activities. About 300 student performers from school orchestras, choirs and youth ensembles will present individual school performances and a large combined ensemble. Organizers say the festival emphasizes the value of the process—working together, learning respect and consideration, and fostering community spirit and artistic sensitivity as students perform as a single orchestra.
