APR's flagship brand MediCube is set to become the first Korean indie beauty brand to record annual sales above 1 trillion won (about $760 million). APR, founded in 2014 and listed on the KOSPI last year, expects consolidated revenue around 1.4 trillion won this year, with MediCube accounting for 80–90% of sales—making MediCube a single-brand 1 trillion-won performer. MediCube grew through its hero product, the 'Zero Pore Pad', later expanding into beauty devices like the AGE-R and combining skincare with devices to drive growth. The brand pursued overseas expansion early (including a Japan subsidiary in 2017) and now operates in over ten countries; more than half of sales now come from abroad. Analysts say MediCube’s rise shows that digital-native indie brands can challenge longstanding big-company dominance in Korea’s cosmetics market. APR plans to extend into professional beauty devices and advanced skincare technologies (e.g., PDRN/PN skin boosters and EBD devices) as it aims to become a global anti-aging company.
