Seungwoo Travel Certified as Family-Friendly Company by Ministry of Gender Equality and Family

Seungwoo Travel, a domestic and international trekking specialist, was newly designated a 'family-friendly certified company' by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family on December 11. The certification recognizes the company’s systematic support for work–family balance, strengthened employee welfare, and healthy organizational culture. Policies include a flexible leave culture, monthly 'early leave day (얼퇴데이)' allowing employees to leave three hours early once a month, and wellness programs like a company-wide 10,000-steps walking challenge and regular trekking/running clubs that leverage the firm’s travel expertise. Seungwoo also provides practical support for employees during childbirth and childcare and promotes internal communication. The certification, which evaluates measures such as parental support, flexible work arrangements, family support programs, and organizational culture initiatives, is valid from December 2025 through November 2028. The company says it will expand benefits to become a place where people want to work long-term.
