Cosmetic brand LUSH Korea has launched a beta AI hair consultation service called “AI LUSH Salon” for its premium membership LUSH US from the 15th to the 31st via the LUSH Korea app. Users upload photos of their hair and the AI analyzes condition (oil-moisture balance, damage) to suggest a personalized hair-care routine and curated products for cleansing, treatment, and styling. The service offers three distinct ‘AI curator’ personalities—Angel (friendly), Wasabi (clear, analytical), and Kama (professional)—so members can choose a consultation tone. Users can refine recommendations with up to three scent preferences (six fragrance families like spicy, citrus, woody, floral), photo reuploads, or chat inputs. LUSH says the beta aims to reproduce in-store consult experiences online and will expand the service based on member feedback; a quiz event runs in-app through the 31st.
