GS25 Releases 57.5% KI ONE x Chef Edward Lee Chili-Infused Whiskey

Convenience store chain GS25 launched a limited-edition K-whiskey, 'KI ONE x Chef Edward Lee Edition,' sold exclusively via its Wine25Plus smart-order system. The 700ml bottle (₩198,000) features Korean red chili (honggochu) flavors: red chili peppers were placed in oak casks before refilling and aging with KI ONE whiskey, imparting a natural chili aroma and spicy kick alongside vanilla and ripe fruit notes. At 57.5% ABV, the whiskey is said to pair well with rich Korean cuisine, and early orders can be picked up at GS25 and GS The Fresh stores; it will arrive in GS25 offline stores in January. GS25 plans more collaborations after KI ONE earned high marks at global whiskey competitions.
