Kumho Resorts has overhauled food & beverage offerings across its four resorts (Jeju, Tongyeong, Seorak, Hwasun) through February, highlighting winter seasonal produce and regional specialties to enhance guests’ year-end experiences. Buffet breakfasts now feature live-cooking sections, self-serve corners, and expanded kids’ menus. Kumho Jeju showcases Jeju black pork soy-bulgogi, assorted grilled vegetables, five types of jeotgal (Korean salted seafood), oyster soup, bomal seaweed porridge, rice noodles and fresh mandarin juice. Kumho Tongyeong offers a “Tongyeong oyster special” with steamed oysters, oyster soup-rice, fried oysters, oyster palbochae and oyster jjambbong plus sashimi rice bowls and jeotgal. Kumho Seorak presents eight types of seaweed, cod stew from Sokcho, a “build-your-own rice noodle” corner and more children’s items. Kumho Hwasun features Hwasun onion pork bulgogi, beef-bone soup (sagol gomtang) and Jeolla-style jeotgal, along with sweet croffle self-service and kid-friendly bites. Special winter dinners (e.g., Jeju’s Winter Special with 60 dishes, free wine on Christmas, draft beer, and a tuna-cutting show) and holiday events (Santa photo times, prize draws, candy for children) run across resorts on Christmas dates and select days. Kumho says the seasonal, locally rooted menus and festive programming are aimed at delivering warmer, more distinctive resort dining experiences.
