Jeju Dream Tower resort celebrates its fifth anniversary on Dec 18 with about 11.5 million cumulative visitors since opening in Dec 2020. The mixed-use complex — Jeju’s tallest building featuring 1,600 all-suite rooms, 14 restaurants and bars, an foreigners-only casino, and the Han Collection shopping mall (한컬렉션) — shifted Jeju tourism toward urban, stay-in experiences amid a pandemic opening. This year the resort posted unusually strong off-season performance: November revenue reached 64.2 billion won, surpassing August, and rooms maintained around 80% occupancy for six months. The 38th-floor Skyview “pocha” (포차, late-night street-food style bar) welcomed 700,000 visitors in five years and has become an iconic night-spot. Foreign guest share rose to 72.5% by October. The casino saw dramatic growth — monthly visitors rose from 7,100 in 2021 to 48,000 this year, with monthly net sales reaching 39.6 billion won and three months of 50+ billion won revenues. Analysts note recovery of Chinese inbound travel, more high-roller guests, and added gaming capacity, prompting a price target upgrade for the operator’s stock. To mark five years, the resort runs customer promotions Dec 18–31 including gifts and discounts at Han Collection and nine dining venues (no corkage fees for qualifying restaurant orders).
