Forum to Boost Everyday Sports, Link Schools with Communities on the 19th

The Seoul Metropolitan Council will host a forum on the 19th to promote 생활체육 (everyday/community sports) by linking school sports facilities with local neighborhoods. Speakers include lawmakers, the Seoul education superintendent, sports officials and parents. Panelists will discuss lowering barriers to exercise, shared use of school gyms and fields, and ways to make regular physical activity accessible near people’s homes to improve public health and work–life balance. Organizers hope the forum will be a catalyst for creating more opportunities and spaces so families can exercise easily in their communities.
