Pianist Yunchan Lim (21) will give the first domestic performance of the piece that helped him win the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Promoter Mok Production announced its 2026 season lineup, revealing Lim will perform Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 with Marin Alsop and the Philadelphia Orchestra on November 7–8 at Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall — reuniting Lim and maestro Alsop who paired in the 2022 Cliburn finals. As part of the World Orchestra Series, Lim will also appear with Camerata Salzburg on June 15 at Lotte Concert Hall, featuring Mozart works conducted by Masato Suzuki and with soprano Sun-Hye Lim. Mok Production says the projects reflect Lim’s artistic direction and preferred repertoire. The 2026 season will include various recitals by Korean and international artists, including performances by Lim (two Fantasia-themed recitals in May), his teacher Minsoo Sohn (Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier, Book I), Jae-hyuk Cho (Mozart sonatas), and returning artists such as pianist Ji-yong and violinist Suye Park. Additional programs and details will be announced later.
