Chungmu Arts Center celebrates 20th anniversary with renovations and new performances

The Jung-gu Cultural Foundation's Chungmu Arts Center in Seoul commemorates its 20th anniversary by announcing renovation plans and a lineup of performances and exhibitions. Major renovations will occur in the 'Grand Theater' and 'Medium Theater Black' to enhance comfort and safety. New and original works are scheduled, including the world premiere of the musical 'The Man in Hanbok' in November, based on a novel about the life and mystery surrounding the death of the scientist Jang Yeong-sil. Other performances include 'Prima Facie', an acclaimed play debuting in Korea, and the return of the musical 'Memphis'. The center also plans for exhibitions, such as 'Icons of Urban Art'. The renovations and programming aim to offer audiences a richer cultural experience as the center looks towards the next 20 years.
