Seoul-based jewelry brand Lloyd, part of E-Land Group, reports that sales of its child safety (lost-child prevention) ID necklaces rose more than threefold compared with the same period last year. The boost followed the launch of a collaboration collection featuring characters from the popular animation 'Catch! Tini Ping' on Nov. 17. Four styles were sold online first; some items sold out within a day, prompting Lloyd to roll out the collection to its nationwide offline stores on Dec. 5. Lloyd also offers a free engraving service to add a child’s name and contact number on the back of the necklace. ('Catch! Tini Ping' is a Korean children’s animated series.)
