Table-order services allow diners to order food directly from a tablet at their table without the need for waitstaff. Recently, the installation of KT's 'High Order' service tripled compared to December last year. This automation is reported to save the equivalent labor cost of hiring 0.5 to 1 full-time staff. As the popularity of these services grows, large franchise chains are increasingly adopting them to lower costs. In addition, the table-order market is expanding beyond restaurants to hotels. With this trend, the market for such automated ordering services is expected to grow further this year.
