CJ Olive Young Named Most Wanted Employer in Korea, Surpassing SK Hynix

A survey by job platform Catch of 3,079 job seekers and workers found CJ Olive Young ranked first as the company people most want to join this year (20%). The K-beauty boom helped the cosmetics retailer rise two places from last year. SK Hynix fell to second (15%), with Naver third (8%). Hyundai Motor and Samsung Electronics tied for fourth (7% each), followed by CJ CheilJedang (5%). New entrants to the top ranks include KakaoPay and Amorepacific (2% each). Salary and compensation was the top factor in company choice (48%), followed by brand recognition (21%) and fit with major or interests (11%).
