Winter Musical Season Opens in Seoul — Star-Studded Lineup

Seoul’s winter theater season brings a packed slate of large-scale licensed musicals, new Korean works and two major plays, drawing star performers like Kim Junsu, Jung Sunghwa and Park Jungmin. Eight licensed musicals return or premiere in large theaters, including Moulin Rouge!, Rent, Death Note (10th anniversary with fresh casting), Kinky Boots and Beetlejuice — known for spectacular staging and film adaptations.
