Musinsa opened its first overseas store, Musinsa Standard, in Shanghai’s Huaihai Road shopping district to accelerate its offline presence in China. The two-floor, roughly 430-pyeong (pyeong: Korean unit of area) store connects directly to the Shixi Nanlu metro entrance and will serve as a strategic hub for local customer engagement. Musinsa plans two Shanghai stores this year and to add three more in China next year, aiming to grow overseas sales about tenfold from roughly ₩20 billion this year. To support global growth, the company reorganized its leadership into a dual structure separating business execution and business support; founder and CEO Cho Man-ho will lead commerce, brands, global and tech, while new CEO Cho Nam-seong will oversee legal, finance, HR and PR as head of business support.
