Virgin Atlantic announced daily Incheon–London Heathrow flights starting March 29 next year, using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with 258 seats (Upper Class 31, Premium 35, Economy 192). The airline aims to hire more than 40 Korean cabin crew and staff the entire in-flight service on this route with Korean crew who understand Korean sensibilities and culture. Virgin’s Upper Class aims to deliver “first-class experience at business-class prices,” with aisle seats that can face companions and plans to add eight private retreat suites from 2028. The carrier will offer high-speed Starlink Wi‑Fi to create a “home away from home.” Ticket sales in Korea may begin as early as January after finalizing pricing with travel agencies and OTAs. Virgin’s new route provides travelers an alternative to the current Korea–London service and promises easy connections through Heathrow to U.S. and European cities.
