Marriott Bonvoy’s Family Golf Getaway with Park Se-ri Concludes in Hanoi

Marriott International’s global travel program Marriott Bonvoy hosted a three-day “Family Golf Getaway” in Hanoi from Nov. 30, featuring South Korean golf legend and coach Park Se-ri. The package included two nights at JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi, a private round with Park, one-on-one lessons, a kids’ group lesson, a family dinner garden party, adult spa treatments, and a kids’ garden adventure. Participants were chosen via Bonvoy point bidding, with the top bid reaching 470,000 points; four teams ultimately participated. Nam Gi-deok, head of Marriott Korea & Philippines, said the event delivered the “value money can’t buy” and signaled more lifestyle experiences—sports, culinary, and entertainment—planned for members. Marriott Bonvoy spans 30+ brands and about 10,000 destinations, allowing members to redeem points for stays and exclusive experiences through “Moments” (special member events). The program has also expanded community and junior golf development through a partnership with the Park Se-ri Hope Foundation, including golf swing experience zones in Seoul and Incheon hotels and sponsorship of a junior tournament.
