Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon attended the '2025 Seoul Tourism Day' event on the afternoon of December 12 at Sebitseom Floating Island (세빛섬). He presented awards to individuals who contributed to Seoul’s tourism development over the past year and praised the recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic. Mayor Oh highlighted the boost from K-culture — including K-pop group Demon Hunters, films, dramas, and beauty — saying these have helped Seoul tourism "take off" and urged continued effort to reach a goal of 30 million foreign visitors.
