Actor Ji Chang-wook Collaborates with Rado on Limited 'True Square Open Heart × Ji Chang-wook' Watch

Swiss watchmaker Rado and Korean actor Ji Chang-wook have released a limited edition timepiece, the True Square Open Heart × Ji Chang-wook. The modern square watch features a matte black high-tech ceramic monobloc case, an open-heart dial revealing the balance spring and movement, and 12 ruby indices set for the actor’s birthstone. Ji Chang-wook personally visited Rado’s manufacture in Lengnau, Switzerland, participated in material and production reviews, and contributed to the design. The back sapphire crystal is engraved with his Korean signature and the edition number (987 pieces). The automatic R734 caliber uses a niobium-containing (Nivachron) balance spring for magnetic resistance, offers about 80 hours power reserve, measures 38 × 44.2 mm, and is water resistant to 50 m. The watch combines Rado’s ceramic expertise with the actor’s creative input for a distinctive limited model.
