Hoengseong County Showcases Intergenerational Photo Exhibit Blending Youth Creativity and Senior Style

Hoengseong County is hosting a photo exhibition, “Gurigo Hill: Our Village Photo Exhibition – Hip Grandma and Grandpa Fashion Spread,” in the county office lobby through the 19th as part of a local living-conditions improvement project. Young activists from the Gurigo Hill (구리고개) village planned and ran the exhibit, working closely with seniors to uncover personal stories and build intergenerational rapport. Under the slogan “Age? So what,” youth suggested bold, trendy styling and guided hesitant elders through shoots, resulting in natural, hip portraits set against Hoengseong’s landscapes. The show highlights a new model of generational fusion, blending youthful creativity with the depth of older residents. Officials say the exhibit offers visitors a moving, cross-generational cultural experience.
