Nol Universe partnered with deaf-friendly tourism platform DefNuri to offer a 3-night, 4-day accessible package called “Sight-Based Travel: Shizuoka Healing Road.” The tour emphasizes barrier-free travel with reduced transit strain and visual/text-based guidance; Korean and Japanese deaf guides accompany the group. Jeju Air will staff trained cabin crew who can perform in-flight safety demonstrations and announcements in sign language (수어). Highlights include Kakegawa Castle, Yumeterasu observation deck, Miho no Matsubara (world cultural heritage), Lake Tanuki with Mount Fuji views, and foot-bathing at Tokkono-yu in Shuzenji onsen village. The trip runs Feb 8–11 next year and is bookable via NOL and NOL Interpark. Nol Universe says the product aims to lower mobility and communication barriers and will expand more barrier-free tourism offerings through partnerships like the Tourism Open Wave program.
