Lotte Concert Hall announced pianist Seong-Jin Cho will serve as an in-house artist with two concerts on July 14 and 19 next year. The first program is chamber music featuring international players including Berlin Philharmonic members and Korean violist Park Kyung-min; the second is a solo recital with works by Bach, Schoenberg, Schumann and Chopin. The hall also revealed its 10th anniversary 2026 season themed “Passage,” opening with pianist Yunchan Lim performing Schumann with conductor Myung-Whun Chung and the Dresden Staatskapelle on Jan 28. Maestro Chung will return on April 12 with the One Korea Orchestra and pianist Kim Se-hyeon. International visitors include the Helsinki Philharmonic, conductor Teodor Currentzis with his Utopia Orchestra, Charles Dutoit and Martha Argerich with the KBS Symphony, and soloists such as violinists Ray Chen and Daniel Lozakovich and organists Cameron Carpenter and Olivier Latry. The season highlights historic collaborations and aims to celebrate the hall’s decade-long journey since its 2016 opening.
